How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the permanent deletion of your SipherMail account and all associated data using any of the following methods:

• From the app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the on-screen instructions.
• By email: Send a deletion request from your registered email address to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account profile (name, email address, avatar)
• All emails, drafts, and attachments stored in your mailbox
• Contacts and address book entries
• AI conversation history and copilot memory
• Encryption keys and security credentials
• Notification preferences and app settings
• Subscription and billing records (transaction history may be retained as required by law)
• Trusted devices and login history

Deletion Timeline

Upon receiving your request, your account will be deactivated immediately and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. During this period, you may contact us to cancel the deletion request.

Some data may be retained beyond 30 days only where required by applicable law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax compliance).
