Messages you send with end-to-end encryption are locked on your device. Our servers only store the locked copy, so we can’t read them. This works between SipherMail users. Ordinary email to and from other services is protected in transit and at rest, but our servers can process it, like any email service.
Yes. Privacy mode switches off every AI feature for your account.
You can send them a link that expires. Add a password and we can’t read the message either. Without a password, anyone with the link can open it until it expires. Or you can send a normal message.
You can reset your sign-in password. Encrypted messages are different: only your encryption key or recovery code can unlock them, and we can’t recover them for you. Save your recovery code somewhere safe.
Yes. Sign in to Gmail or Outlook, or enter your mail server details for another service, then choose your folders. We copy your messages and never delete anything from your old account. The free plan imports the last 30 days. Paid plans can import everything.
