A booking page is a public link where someone picks a time that works for you. Guests need no account. They see only your free times, never event titles or anything else on your calendar. Your calendar decides which times are free.
Create a page#
- Open Settings > Booking pages and choose New page.
- Enter a title and a page address. Pick an address that is not your email address.
- Choose one or more meeting lengths: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or a custom length in steps of 5 minutes.
- Choose where you meet: a phone call, an address, or a meeting link. Video call appears only when it is turned on for your server.
- Set your time zone and the hours you can be booked on each weekday.
- Save, then use Copy link or Preview.
Options#
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Buffer before and after | Keeps free time around each booking. |
| Minimum notice and days ahead | How soon, and how far ahead, people can book. |
| Daily limit | The most bookings you take in one day. |
| Questions | Up to 5 extra questions, each optional or required. |
| Confirmation message and redirect | Text shown after booking, and an optional https page guests are sent to. |
| Reminder | An email to the guest a set number of hours before, or none. |
When someone books#
The guest picks a day, checks the time zone shown (it is detected and can be changed), and enters a name and email address. They get a confirmation with a calendar invitation and a private link to cancel or reschedule. You get an email, and the meeting is added to your calendar. Free times are checked when the guest looks and again when they confirm, so two people cannot book the same time.
To cancel a booking yourself, choose Cancel booking under Bookings on the same page. The guest is emailed.
Privacy#
SipherMail keeps the guest’s name, email address, notes, answers and time zone only to run the booking, and deletes them 90 days after the booking date. You can delete a record sooner under Bookings. The event on your calendar is separate. Public booking pages carry no analytics or third-party scripts, and your profile picture appears only if you turn it on.
Team pages#
An organization admin with the shared mailboxes permission can create a team page. Round robin gives each guest the member who was booked least recently. Collective offers times when every member is free. Each member must accept in Settings > Booking pages. Until then they are not offered and their calendar is not read. Members can leave at any time.
